Surrounding Area
We are in the quaint Devon village of Oakford, not far from Tiverton, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Oakford lies in the wonderful Exe Valley, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are within easy reach of Exmoor national Park, Dartmoor and Devon's delightful coastlines.
The nearby historic towns of Tiverton, Bampton, South Molton and Dulverton offer a wide range of amenities.
The countryside around Oakford is a haven of wildlife and offers fine walking, with many other activities, including good sport fishing, riding and shooting by arrangement.
Accommodation
All rooms are en-suite and have television, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities.
And of course there is our Four Poster Room for that special occasion.
A delicious full English breakfast is included.
Children are very welcome at The Red Lion - we have a family room and a cot is available on request. High chairs are available in our restaurant and we have a special menu for children.
